The Thread CLASS
A class for 6th-12th grade students that meets Wednesdays from 6:30-7:30 during the school year. This year we are looking at the big-picture story of the bible and how the Gospel is woven throughout the entire thing.

We believe Tribes are the best way for middle school and high school students to connect with God and their faith community. Your Tribe consists of a small group of students in a similar stage of life as you, and is led by an adult who is committed to equipping you to succesfully navigate middle school and high school and develop a faith of your own. Tribes meet weekly to play, laugh, and study God’s word together.

6.24 | CIY MOVE
MOVE is a 5-day, high school only event, designed to amplify Christ's call on students' lives to become kingdom workers.
Location: Holland, MI
Students at MOVE not only learn and worship together – they spend quality time with their church youth groups, discovering ways that God will use them to impact the world.
This year's theme is called "The Rest of Your Life" and explore Jesus’ promises to be with you always and give you rest from the pressures and burdens of this world.

Cell Phone Policy
We are removing cell phones from students for certain portions of this event. Students will be required to give their cell phone to a leader each day at a specified time, and it will be returned to them later that day. There will be no exceptions.
IMPORTANT FINANCIAL INFORMATION:
Please do not pay the full amount at the time of registration. We will be hosting fundraisers this year with the goal of raising money to reduce the cost for students to attend this event. In years past, students who participated in the fundraisers have been able to decrease their cost of this event significantly. Please pay the $150 non-refundable deposit at the time of registration.

N2Y is a 2 day, middle school only event designed to prepare and encourage students to make an impact for Christ.
Location: Indiana Wesleyan University
We will stay on campus for the entire event and sleep in the campus residence halls.
4.19 | Dodgeball Tournament
Get ready to dodge, duck, dip, dive, and dodge at our upcoming Dodgeball Tournament! It's a high-energy event where teams will battle it out in the student center, showcasing their agility and teamwork. Many teams will enter, only one team wins.
We’ll have some Gatorade and water, but no food at this event so eat before you come.

3.15 | Video Game Night
For 6-12 grade students, we’ll have lots of consols and screens, and several games to choose from. Play what you want, or participate in the Super Smash Bros Ultimate tournament.
Bring your favorite gaming snacks and drinks to share.

We’re turning the church building into a warzone. Bring your own blasters if you have some, or use ours. Do not bring your own ammo, only bring blasters that use Nerf Elite series ammo (normal nerf darts). We’ll have Chic-fil-a to eat.
$5 to play to help cover the cost of food and supplies.

Student Christmas Party
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Bring a wrapped gift (under $15) for our annual Wild White Elephant Gift exchange! We’ll have hot cocoa, games, and lots of Christmas spirit!

Bring a friend and maybe a lawn chair if you have one. Meet at the firepit behind NLCC to hang out, eat hotdogs, have smores, and stare at a fire. 8:30-10:30pm

Starting off the next season of Student Ministry at NLCC. Come to the fall kickoff for games, food, and an introduction to what to expect from Tribes, events, and faith skills class for this school year.

Details
We're to Potato Creek to do a short hike, then have have a picnic and hang out at the beach area! Due to space in vehicles, this event has limited capacity. Please register to reserve a spot on the van, or plan to have your own transportation to and from Potato Creek State Park.
Bring a water bottle, if you plan to swim at the beach bring (or wear) your swimsuit and towel.

Every Tuesday this summer We’ll head to Rum Village for a round a disc golf and then to Dairy Queen for some lunch and ice cream! You’re welcome to bring your own discs if you want, but we have plenty to share.

5.03 | Service Project
We’re going to take an evening to help one of our church members in need. Meet at NLCC at 4:45pm, we’ll be back to NLCC around 7:30pm. Wear clothes that can get dirty. Food will be provided.

4.29 | Mario Movie at AMC Theater
Super Mario Bros. Movie
Cost: $5
Location: AMC 16 Theater in South Bend
For middle school and high school students. We’re going to the AMC theater in South Bend to watch the Super Mario Bros. movie.
2:00pm - Meet at NLCC to ride up to AMC
2:30pm - Movie starts
4:45pm - Pickup at NLCC
If you plan to ride with us on the church van you must register (below) to make sure we have enough seats. You can also meet us at the AMC 16 in South Bend around 2:20pm.
Bring $5 cash for the ticket, plus any extra money for concessions.
