The NLCC Ministry Scholarship exists to build the kingdom of God by providing resources to equip young men and women to train for Kingdom work through vocational ministry.

In order to be considered for this scholarship, the following requirements must be met:
• A member in good standing of North Liberty Church of Christ
• High school graduate intending to attend a Christian university or college
• Intending to serve in vocational Christian ministry.
While receiving this scholarship, students are expected to maintain a GPA of 2.7 or higher and remain actively involved in a church After the first year, recipients are expected to be serving in a ministry. Recipients will need to submit a scholarship renewal application each year to continue receiving support from NLCC.
*Note that meeting these requirements does not guarantee a scholarship. NLCC may take other factors into consideration, and is limited to providing scholarships to only 2 students per year at this time.

The NLCC Ministry Scholarship is only available for schools affiliated with the Restoration Christian Churches and Churches of Christ.
Ozark Christian College, Johnson University, Great Lakes Christian College, Kentucky Christian University, and Oklahoma Christian University are all approved schools. Other Christian schools may be requested.

The total scholarship amount per student is $14,000 over 4 years.
• Year 1: $1,000 per semester
• Year 2: $1,500 per semester
• Year 3: $2,000 per semester
• Year 4: $2,500 per semester
APPLICATION ESSAY
Along with your application you will need to provide a 500 word essay that answers the following questions:
What is your story?
How has faith played a role in your story?
What has led you to believe that God might be calling you to serve in full-time ministry?
The deadline to submit the application is June 1st to be considered for the fall semester (November 1st for spring semester). You may download and print the application or complete it online with the links below.
